Fail Engineering provided assistance to Bay Springs Telephone Company, Inc. located in Bay Springs, Mississippi to upgrade its Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) capabilities at numerous remote sites to ADSL2+ ready DSLAMs to enable a future delivery of IPTV service to residents served by those remotes. After review of a number of vendor’s products, the Adtran 1248 DSLAM was selected and implemented in a large number of remotes in 12 exchanges.
